Apartment buildings increasingly offer larger and more attractive living spaces for the occupants that are packaged in interesting architectural designs. A total of eighteen apartment projects by well and lesser known architects are surveyed here, including; MVDRV’s Parkrand Building; Loos architects ‘De Salamander;’ Christian de Portzamparc’s ‘De Citadel,’ and FOA’s Carabachel Housing. All projects are accompanied by extensive colour photographs, details, elevations and plans.
