At the beginning of the 2010s, European graffiti artist DELTA started painting freight trains. It was the beginning of a massive series of paintings which were solely executed on the DB (Deutsche Bahn) Falns 121 and 183 cargo wagons. Using mainly white paint and black spray paint, he managed to paint more than 760 cars of these models until 2023. This book, like an exhibition catalogue, documents almost every one of these unique works. Each is dated and sometimes titled, appearing in non-chronological order but compiled into conceptual series. Texts by the artist offer insights into his thoughts on impermanence, the tools, the site, or the execution.
