Produktbeschreibung
For fifty years, Fredrik Wretman’s art has fascinated and challenged audiences. LOOKING FOR ALICE FINE is a monograph featuring five writers who explore his distinctive practice through personal reflections on art, perception, and creativity. The book traces Wretman’s artistic development, revealing work that is spiritual, playful, and resistant to interpretation. Central to the project is the sculpture Looking for Alice Fine, which Wretman describes as a portrait of the searching artist, longing to merge with the medium itself. In an interview with Eva-Lotta Holm Flach, he compares artistic practice and meditation as parallel paths toward the unconscious, thought, and discovery.
