Ingenhoven architects was founded in 1985 by Christoph Ingenhoven, and has since become known for its ecologically oriented designs for high-rise and other buildings. The firm’s sustainable approach to building and attention to the well-being of the occupants – embodied by its supergreen® trademark – have been applied to a wide range of projects and scales worldwide. Besides a critical essay by Barry Bergdoll and an interview with Ingenhoven and Martha Thorne, the magazine features 22 diverse and exemplary projects, from the Audi Pavilion, Lufthansa headquarters, and Google HQ, to University College Dublin, the International Criminal Court, and Central Park Berlin.
