This number is dedicated to TC Notebooks Portuguese architects team forming é Mais Less : Cristina Guedes and Francisco Vieira de Campos. Both share professional office in Porto in 1991 , and both were major contributors lusos teachers : Guedes de Alvaro Siza and Eduardo Souto de Campos de Moura. ( ... ) This pair of creators , rather than the final object , worry about all of the conceptual and technological processes that lead to it , which explains its predilection for the methods of industrial design, prefabrication , prototyping or component assembly . So they chose the name of "Less is More " , not feeling completely imbued with the stylistic epithet of Mies van der Rohe - both illustrates current " minimalist " architecture trends - but because they are interested in exploring the ethical reduction design architectural level " below". Their architectures are, as described , infra - structures , and "less " is not here just " more " , it is "everything.
