Produktbeschreibung

Emigre magazine was a critically acclaimed design magazine published between 1984 and 2005. It is in the permanent design collections of museums throughout the world. Founded by designer Rudy VanderLans and a group of friends, and coinciding with the birth of the Macintosh computer, Emigre magazine lived at the vanguard of computer generated design. Fueled by Emigre's succesful digital type foundry, the magazine became one of the most popular and controversial graphic design magazines published during the 1990s. Designed and edited by VanderLans, Emigre, the book, is a selection of reprints, using original digital files, tracing Emigre's development from its early bitmap design days through to the final twice-yearly book-sized issues co-published with Princeton Architectural Press. Also Includes: * 32-page booklet of Letters to the Editor, 'Dear Emigre' * CD-Rom with music and videos published by Emigre * Full-sized commemorative poster
