This volume addresses the major challenges that cities are facing today. Ten teams of professionals from a broad range of disciplines conducted research on a single square kilometre of each of the five largest cities in the Netherlands: Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague, Utrecht, and Eindhoven.
