The project by Pihlmann Architects is a concept beyond a physical building, repurposing itself and showcasing reused components by amplifying what already exists, aspiring to be an experimental approach for societal participation and systemic change. This book traces the transformation of the former factory from 1967 into a vibrant community hub. It documents every stage, from the initial analysis of the existing structure to the retention and repurposing of 95% of its materials, guided by their inherent qualities, resulting in a coherent physical space.
