This monograph includes a selection of different residential projects designed by Italian architects Ponis on the Sardinian coast, featuring, among others, the Martínez House, the Hartley House, the Scalesciani House, the Heintzschel House, and the Gostner House. A text written by Alberto Ponis, titled "Notes on Architecture", details the aims of his work, and serves as a prologue to the monograph that also includes three essays: the first one, by Inmaculada Maluenda and Enrique Encabo, titled "The Height of Summer: The Mediterranean Adventure of Alberto Ponis"; the second, "The Housing Projects of Alberto Ponis", by Jonathan Sergison; and the third, "Hidden Structures", written by Irina Davidovici.
