Willhelm’s body of work is characterized by a grotesque and highly imaginative imagery – a fantasy that appears innocent and childlike, yet is disrupted in a subtle way. Published to accompany a retrospective exhibition, this book focuses on Willhelm’s work as a fashion designer, his collections, his collaborations with different artists such as Karsten Fock, Björk, Olaf Breuning and Nico Krebs, and, on the exhibition at the ModeMuseum in Antwerp.
